Track your time spent reading, complete challenges, add friends, and write reviews all year long with the Beanstack app! Sign up for an account at mesapl.beanstack.org or download the mobile app for Android or iOS.
Throughout the year, you can join community reading challenges like 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, Mesa Reads, and more.
Once signed up, you can log your reading, write reviews, and participate in activities to earn digital badges and occasional prizes.
Beanstack Tips and Tricks
- Participate in challenges for Kids and Adults
- If you are an adult, choose the 18+ option under “Age”
- If you are not in school, find other options like Not Applicable

Create a family account:
A Beanstack family account allows one person to manage multiple accounts using a single username and password.- First create your own account by going to mesapl.beanstack.org
- Click “Register an Individual or Family”
- Then click “I am an adult registering a child”
- Input all information for the adult(s) to complete the reader profile.
- When prompted, add any additional readers in your family.
If your child has signed up with their school classroom, you may still create a personal family account with them included
- You can only add friends who also have accounts through Mesa Public Library. You will be unable to add friends from other libraries
- Challenges contain badges you earn through completing activities
