Mesa Celebrates America 250
America 250 is a nationwide, nonpartisan effort inviting communities to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Led by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, the initiative emphasizes local storytelling, civic learning, and shared experiences that reflect the diverse histories of communities across the country. In Mesa, America 250 is an opportunity to explore the people, events, and cultures that have shaped our city and region. From Indigenous communities and early settlers to veterans, entrepreneurs and families. Through Mesa Public Library programs, collections and community events, we’re connecting national history to local voices and inviting residents of all ages to learn, reflect, and celebrate together.
