Summer Teen Application
Thanks for your interest in the Mesa Public Library’s Summer Teen Volunteer Program!
The Summer Reading Program runs June 1 - August 1.
Requirements
You must:- be 14-17 years of age
- enjoy working with people
- be able to attend orientation
- not be gone more than 2 weeks during the summer
- be outgoing and energetic

Interviews
You will only be contacted if you've been selected for an interview. Interviews will take place April through early May at all library locations.
2026 Orientations
Dobson Ranch Library (DR)
Wednesday, May 27 | 6–7:30pm
Saturday, May 30 | 10:30am–12:30pm
Gateway (GW)
Tuesday, May 26 | 10–11:30am and 2–3:30pm
Main Library (MN)
Wednesday, May 27 | 10–11:30am and 2–3:30pm
Red Mountain Library (RM)
Thursday, May 28 | 10–11:30am and 2–3:30pm
Attendance for an orientation at your designated library is mandatory in order to volunteer this summer.
