Classes for G.E.D., adult basic education, literacy and special tutoring are free to teens over age 16 and adults. The Center gives G.E.D. tests monthly.

G.E.D. program available through the Community Education Center. Saturday and night classes available. 16 weeks long starting once a semester.

Students in school can get jobs and vocational training if they are 16-21 years of age and qualify for economic assistance. A summer program for 14-21 year olds is also available. 8 -5 p.m. M-F.

All Mesa young adults are eligible for employment through this service. Call between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays for more information or come to the Young Adult Room of the Mesa Public Library to check the bulletin board for job listings. Job listing and application also on website.
