Young Adult Advisory Council (YAAC)
Who: YAAC is a group of teenage volunteers
that
meet twice monthly at the library.
What: YAAC is a teen advisory council
composed of teen volunteers who discuss books and
write book reviews which are published in their own
newsletter called Open Shelf
This group also
attends special events both inside and outside the
library.
When: On the Saturday mornings listed
below, 10–11:30 AM
August 2, August 16, August 30, September 13
Where: Youth Activity Room, City of Mesa
Library, 64 East First Street
Why: Earn volunteer credit, discover cool
books to read, make friends, improve writing and
speaking skills and have fun!
