Ready, Set and Write!
November is National Novel Writing Month and here are a few workshops you can participate in.
Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Rd. will host a one-day writing conference on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The workshop will help writers create marketable story concepts, intriguing plots, engaging characters and interesting dialogue. The event is designed to launch writers into a new project. During the NANOWRIMO kick-off party you can meet other writers and jump into November by writing 50,000 words.
After the workshop there will be panel discussion led by published authors about the industry will conclude the conference. Have some fun, meet new writers and learn a few tricks in the trade.
Also, on Sat., Oct. 31 there will be a NANOWRIMO kick-off party to spark creative writing at 10 a.m. to noon at THINKspot.
