Local Author Events in June

In addition to our Local Author of the Month, Mesa Public Library will host three more local author events in June. These authors represent a variety of genres and will be available to chat about their work. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Local Author of the Month Bryan Flamigdovesofsynchronicity

Bryan Flamig is an engineer and computer scientist, having graduated from the University of Nebraska and Arizona State University. He's also a writer, and besides his first novel, "The Doves of Synchronicity", he has written numerous books on C++ and object-oriented programming.

LS Wagensupermansresume

LS Wagen presents the 2016 edition of her title, Super-Man’s Resume: A Beginner’s Guide to Resume Writing and Beyond. She has also written a novel for young adults: Pauline’s Perils of Perplexity.

John H. Olcotthauntingpathways

John H. Olcott will sign his book, Haunting Pathways in My Mind: PTSD: Paralyzing Twisted Situations Daily. It's a compelling story for all those on the healing journey to recovery for themselves or their loved ones.

Lois Grunwaldcapaciousearth

Lois Grunwald will appear to sign her poetry chapbook Capacious Earth, published by Finishing Line Press in October 2015. It was short-listed in the Ruby Irene Poetry Chapbook 2014 contest by Arcadia Magazine. The book was also a finalist and “merit” chapbook in the Comstock Review’s Jessie Bryce Niles Chapbook Contest in 2014, and was also a finalist in the Comstock Review’s Writers Group Chapbook Contest. Her poems have appeared in the Iowa Poetry Source Anthology, Leaves by Night, Flowers by Day.
