Book Kit Reservation Request
The City of Mesa Library has a special collection
of titles for use by book discussion groups. Titles
are available in Mystery, Classic, General Fiction,
and Nonfiction genres, and kits include a binder
with summary, author information, discussion
questions, criticism and reviews and other
information. An annotated list of titles is
available at the Ask Here/Information Desk and may
be copied for $.20 per page (approximately five
pages). The list (without annotations) can also be
found on the library catalog by entering “Book Group
Kits” or “Adult fiction reading club series” as a
Series Search. If you would like to check out book
group kits, please complete the form below and
follow these procedures:
- Requests must be made at least one week and
no more than twelve months in advance.
- The person checking out the kit is
responsible for all lost, damaged and overdue
charges.
- The person making the request will be
notified if the kit is available and the request
is approved. Because a number of book discussion
groups use this collection, please don’t count
on the availability of the kit until a staff
member has contacted you.
- Kits normally check out for 6 weeks; please
include “Dates Needed” below.
- Kits may be picked up at the MN Library
Checkout or transferred to Red Mountain
or Dobson Ranch Branches. Transfers may take up
to a week.
